Appointments
A consultation usually lasts between 30 to 45 minutes in which we address your major foot concerns. It helps us to treat you more effectively if you bring in any footwear or scans (eg Xray) that you feel may relate to your foot concerns.Practice hours
Our current practice hours are Tue 8:30am to 6:30pm, Thur 8:30am to 6:30pm, Fri 9:00am to 4:00pm, Sat 9:00am to 12:30pm However we have reception ready to take your appointment 6 days a week!Our Podiatrists
M'lane Field is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association(NSW) and the Australasian Podiatry Council . She has practised in all aspects of Podiatry in Sydney's Inner West for the last 20 years. M’lane is a caring professional that takes great pride in delivering the highest quality care for her patients. Alongside extensive expertise with all age groups, as a mother of active children she enjoys treating the many and varied foot conditions that these little people can present. M'lane is available for consultation Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.Amy Lamont is highly experienced in all aspects of podiatry and has a keen interest in childrens foot care and diabetic podiatry patients. She is a dedicated Podiatrist whose expertise spans primary care through to biomechanical analysis and nail surgery. Amy has the ability to transfer knowledge and expertise to the general public in a gentle and caring way. Amy is available for consultation on Saturday mornings.
M'lane and Amy keep up with the latest developments in the practise of Podiatry and are committed to ongoing professional development. They are Registered Providers for the Department of Veterans' Affairs and the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC).
Claiming with your Health Fund
We use HICAPS to help you claim your rebate from your private health fund on the spot. As this rebate varies widely between funds we suggest you call your fund directly to find out what your podiatric entitlements are.EPC referral
If your doctor has provided you with an Enhanced Primary Care Plan Referral (EPC) then we can bulk bill your consultation with Medicare. This referral is at the discretion of your GP and is for the ongoing health care of chronic conditions for eligible patients.Sterilisation Procedures
We take sterilisation and cleanliness in our practice very seriously. All podiatric instruments are autoclave sterilised as required by the NSW Podiatry Registration Board Standards: AS/ NZS 4187; AS/ NZS 4815.
